The committee's guidance and advice are critical in driving the chapter board towards achieving the missions of establishing a local community, a community for companies, a managed training center, a product validation program, a directory of consultants, and organizing the Digital Trust World Conference. The existence of the Advisory Committee ensures that ISACA Sri Lanka is well-positioned to achieve its goals and objectives, and remain at the forefront of the cybersecurity community in Sri Lanka.

Finance Committee

The Finance Committee of ISACA Sri Lanka is a crucial component of the organization's strategy, responsible for ensuring financial stability and supporting the annual events and programs of the organization. The committee is chaired by the Vice President of the chapter, who plays a leadership role in guiding the committee towards achieving its objectives. The committee's strategic plan focuses on achieving key results, including securing 24 corporate sponsors, establishing a fixed deposit of LKR 10 million, and providing high-quality training and review courses for members seeking certifications such as CISA, CISM, CSX, and CCAK. By achieving these objectives, the Finance Committee aims to provide its members with valuable resources and training opportunities while maintaining the financial stability of the organization. The Vice President, along with the members of the Finance Committee, works tirelessly to ensure that ISACA Sri Lanka remains financially strong and capable of delivering exceptional programs and events for its members and the broader cybersecurity community in Sri Lanka.

The subcommittee is responsible for organizing events such as the ISACA CommunITy Day, which promotes community service among members, and the Regional Information Security Conference 2023. Its focus on organizing four one-day conferences per annum and four SheLeadTech events per annum showcases its commitment to promoting gender diversity in the cybersecurity field. Through its events and programs, the Programs Subcommittee aims to foster a culture of collaboration and knowledge-sharing among cybersecurity professionals in Sri Lanka.
